- StakeholdersThe Tulsa Area Clean Cities Coalition is one of more than 80 such coalitions across the nation working to expand the use of alternative fuel vehicles. More than 1,800 stakeholders nationwide have joined Clean Cities to help build the local alternative fuels market, improve air quality, stimulate the local economy and increase public awareness of alternative fuels. Stakeholders include fuel suppliers, vehicle manufacturers, fleet managers, utilities, environmental and health groups, and state and local governments. Since TACC’s inception in 1997, we have continued to grow our impact on energy use savings and emissions reduced across the region.

2023 Impact

60,344 tons of greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) were avoided in 2023 from alternative fuel vehicle deployments, idle reduction measures, and fuel economy improvements by TACC stakeholders.

Of total GHG emissions reduced in 2023, 59,212 tons were avoided by alternative fuel vehicle (AFV) deployments.

8,621,092 gasoline gallon equivalents (GGE) were saved in 2023 from alternative fuel vehicle deployments, idle reduction measures, and fuel economy improvements by TACC stakeholders.

Of TACC’s total energy impact in 2023, 8,526,155 GGEs (97%) were saved by AFVs of varying types.
