Michelle Merchant
Coalition Director

Michelle is a Senior Sustainability Planner at INCOG and has served as Director for Tulsa Area Clean Cities since October of 2021. She earned dual degrees in Environmental Policy and Economics from the University of Tulsa and was recognized as the Outstanding Senior in Environmental Policy for the Class of 2021. Michelle has also completed studies in Sustainable Development at the School for Field Studies in Costa Rica. Her passion for community-centered work has led to experiences with many Tulsa-area nonprofits including the Oklahoma Sustainability Network and Oklahoma Policy Institute.

Andrew Kim
Program Specialist

Andrew began working with Tulsa Area Clean Cities in early 2023 as an intern through Argonne National Laboratory’s Accelerate program before transitioning full-time with the coalition in August 2024. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a double-major in Community Health and Sociology before going on to complete his Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. He has been involved with research and practice in public health and environmental sustainability with special interest in energy equity and the intersection between the built environment and health.

Patrick Richardson
Intern

Patrick began working with TACC in January 2025 as an intern through Argonne National Laboratory’s Accelerate program. A full-time student at the University of Tulsa studying Environmental Policy, Patrick is passionate about urban planning, sustainability, and environmental justice. Through this internship, Patrick hopes to gain professional experience in the environmental field while further developing skills for a career in public service.
