The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is pleased to announce two funding programs toward reducing vehicle emissions in the state.
The Clean Diesel / DERA program will offer approximately $638,000 towards the installation of exhaust control retrofits on a variety of vehicles, and diesel or gasoline school bus replacements.
The Alternative Fuel School Bus Program, funded by the Volkswagen State Environmental Mitigation Trust, will offer approximately $4.1 million towards alternative fuel school bus projects.
A full description of eligible projects can be found in their respective Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Applications for both programs are due on or before December 3, 2018.
