The Oklahoma State Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Certification Course will be offered several times in August and September by The Professional Development Institute at Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC).The three-day course is designed for technicians who are well versed in electrical and engine performance systems. It will be offered August 12-14, September 4-6 and September 25-27.Students will receive training in an instructor led course with hands-on application in the areas of Safety, Fuel Characteristics, System Description and Operation, Fuel Line Bending, System Diagnosis, System Inspections and Regulations (NFPA 52).

At the conclusion of the course, students are offered the opportunity to take the State Certification Test administered by the Oklahoma Department of Central Services. Students must register directly with the Oklahoma Department of Central Services to take the State Certification Exam.

The cost of the course is $450 and instructional materials are approximately $50. The course will be offered on the OCCC campus at 7777 S. May Ave. in Oklahoma City. To enroll or for more information, please contact John Claybon at [email protected] or 405.682.7855.
