Good stories deserve to be told — and TACC stakeholders have great ones! In our new Stakeholder Spotlight series, we’re highlighting the people and companies in eastern Oklahoma making a difference in clean transportation.

First up under our spotlight is Emerging Fuels Technology, a Tulsa company making global waves in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) innovation and commercialization. Founded in 2007 by Ken Agee — previously the founder and CEO of gas-to-liquids pioneer Syntroleum — EFT has spent nearly two decades developing production pathways for jet fuel that’s chemically identical to the fossil-based version, but with up to 94% lower lifecycle emissions. Today, the company holds more than 20 patents and licenses its technology to partners around the world, from a CO₂-to-fuel plant in Washington State to an offshore Navy project in Hawaii to new facilities in Norway and Germany.

In a global industry with few tools to decarbonize, EFT is building the infrastructure needed for a sustainable future in flight.
